"I don’t write many reviews because most of the business I interact with, be they restaurants, painters, or contractors, do a job that isn’t noteworthy enough to make the effort. In comes Justin from JG plumbing. From the minute he answered the call I knew he was different. Not a referral service, not an office receptionist. Justin answers the call. I told him we just had a ruptured water heater with water all over our basement. He said he’d come and take a look at it right away. I had already called another plumber from yelp (a referral service as it turned out) and they were also on the way. We have a somewhat unique set up, a 75-gallon tank with a power vent and a recirculating pump. Justin took one look at it and knew exactly what it was and recommended I replace it with the same exact thing since it worked so well. He knew off the top of his head that it was still available and that the brand (Bradford White) is one he’d recommend. He asked me if I wanted to do it that same day. I said of course! He said he would do it and not charge any type of emergency fee. I told him I had one other plumber coming and that I’d call him afterward, once I decide. The other plumber came and didn’t know what it was he was looking at. He made some calls and was very reluctant about the installation, telling that maybe I should go tankless (not a good idea for this installation). He did not instill confidence at all and said if I wanted that same type or tank that I would have to order it and pick it up and call them to install it. After he left I called Justin and told him about that and he said he had just reserved the last tank in stock. I gave him the green light and he said he was on his way to pick it up. Justin had another scheduled job but rescheduled it to help me. His clients understand. So do I. Justin came about an hour later and worked really hard to get us up and running. He was there until almost 7pm. He got it all fixed up and was going to return in the morning to wrap the tank in insulation after my request. He didn’t charge for his extra time nor the insulation. He just did his job excellently and professionally. Justine has phenomenal work ethic. He’s very impressive, very honest, very professional, thorough, clean and fast. It turns out he’s a fully licensed plumbing contractor. Which means he can go far and beyond a normal installation. I’m not kidding when I said we just found our personal plumber. I will say one last thing. I’m not a plumber at all, I’m a musician. But if I was not doing music, I’d be happy to work for Justin. He runs his business with integrity. That’s worth something. Hire him, I guarantee you’ll thank me for it. Cheers!"
